Descrizione

Il genere comprende pappagalli di grossa taglia, oltre i 30mweg cm, con caratteristiche di colore diverse ma con conformazione morfologica comune: corpo forte e compatto, leggermente più tozzo che negli altri lori e coda leggermente più larga e piatta.
